Yes, it’s true! You can connect your Amazon Alexa device to public wifi networks just like you would any other device.
Here’s how:
Open the Amazon Alexa app on your mobile device.
Tap on the menu icon in the top-left corner of the screen.
Tap on “Settings.”
Tap on “Connected Devices.”
Tap on “Add Device.”
Select “Other Device.”
Enter the public wifi network’s SSID (name) and password.
Tap on “Connect.”
And that’s it! Your Amazon Alexa device will now be connected to the public wifi network.
